If LNT was true, then even a single chest X-ray would be dangerous, and CT scans 100 times more dangerous.

Our Public Health folks in Canada have recently tried to apply LNT logic to alcohol consumption, taking the stance that no amount of alcohol is safe. Anything greater than zero carries a risk, in their view, which means that doctors should screen for alcohol intake greater than zero and counsel patients who drink more than zero. Given the average annual per capita intake of alcohol in this country, that’s a heck of a lot of screening and counselling! And it’s not like the patients would then say “okay, I’ll quit drinking!”

Great article! Caution: dihydrogen oxide is a deadly chemical and a leading cause of death worldwide. We must ban it.
