Green-Left in attack mode
as energy realists rise
Stephen,
Green-Left campaigners and renewable energy corporations do not like our success one bit.
The far-Left American Prospect ran a massive hit piece that targeted CFACT and its allies, and took particularly nasty swipes at Marc Morano, who runs CFACT's Climate Depot.
American Prospect credits Marc with having "done more than perhaps any other person to manufacture doubt about global warming." That doubt (we prefer the term “realism”) is well deserved, but in any event, I guess we should thank American Prospect … looks like we're number one!
More people than ever before are realizing that climate science is over-hyped and often shoddy. They also realize massive wind and solar installations touted as solutions to the “crisis” they’ve hitched their wagon to are an environmental tragedy.
Wind and solar also terribly inefficient. They are far better at generating subsidies than power.
With your help, CFACT has led the way in educating people to the sober realities of inaptly named "renewables." I'm sure you remember the protests CFACT organized to halt offshore wind until their impact on whales is understood. CFACT is providing local activists with the facts they need to take action and win – and this is likely why they commissioned this so-called “investigative report”.
Rebecca Burns, who wrote the hit piece for American Prospect, indulges in all the old climate campaign tropes -- calling names, ignoring facts, and attacking our funding. The funding thing is particularly ridiculous as CFACT receives, as we’ve said in the past, no funding from fossil fuel companies. Nor has it for years. Not that we'd turn down a grant from the people who keep our lights on and our transportation moving, but realistically that's not happening. As you well know, CFACT is overwhelmingly funded by readers, friends and small dollar supporters who care about free speech, free markets, and realistic climate, energy and environmental policy.
Most importantly, the funding available to the Green Left dwarfs what is available to those of us correcting the record. It's not even close. Team climate has billions in play, while we raise most of our funding $50 at a time. Fortunately, the facts are on our side. We remain confident that will prove enough to prevail.
Gandhi has often been credited with saying, "First they ignore you. Then they ridicule you. Then they fight You…and then you win."
In reality, it is likely that the Mahatma never said that at all. But the quote is worthy of him. It’s a point that remains valid, and one we should keep in mind as the battle over America’s energy future intensifies.
For nature and people too,
Craig Rucker

To be fair, having doubts about global boiling is quite easy - the alarmists manipulation of data & temperatures, their fiddling of fact (climate gate), their infantile skewed models etc are testament to the sheer fraud being foisted on the masses by globalist elites
The CO2 bogeyman is naively crass - a life giving gas that is greening the earth, yielding better crop growths (easing hunger) and giving us breathable O2 in return - a beautiful gas
Net zero, the AGW hoaxes arrogant child, impoverishing the masses with living standard regression, using inept, engineeringly incompetent, back to the future technologies, is meeting reality as grids creak and ready to fail, homes go cold (heat pumps), mobility is restricted (battery cars), power consumption is monitored and forcibly reduced by remote high tariff switching, or complete cut off (smart meters)
The whole scam is built on an altar of lies and the sooner the masses wake up to it, the better
