It’s about time for more natural gas power generation.

I will ignore the potential to convert to hydrogen as political positioning rhetoric.

Build the plant, consume natural gas, produce electricity. We need it.

Hydrogen can be created with nuclear at low cost. Areas where nuke cannot be placed, hydrogen nearby is an option. Hitachi, Mitsubishi and Terrapower are developing Sodium Cooled Modular reactors. Good to have gas turbines and hydrogen as options. As the grid gets less nationalised or fragile, these are all options

. A few states, even Red ones are actively trying to get the minds and modular nuke development in their states. Only a few states can survive without the grid. Those have NG, coal, Hydro and nuke. Exporters to the grid presently with the lowest KW price in the nation.

When this battery baloney stops in a few years, all options and petro will be important.
