Paranoia
My answer will probably
only make sense
to the paranoid
among us.
First, even if the person
you are talking to
isn't listening,
someone nearby might be;
Secondly, the person
who isn't listening to you
may remember
some or all
of what you say later;
and lastly, either
of those two groups
may have heard
what you said differently
than you intended.
Hence, you shouldn’t
say anything
to those not listening.
Is that perfectly clear?
