I agree. With the number of fires and high winds, it would not matter if the Pacific Ocean was a firefighting source. There are too many fire hydrants and attached hoses (pressure losses) for the existing pumps (pressure increases). The potable water distribution system wasn’t designed to combat catastrophic fires.
