What a nightmare - not only vegetarian but completely vegan, in a population that is not used to low protein diets! Vegans have to supplement B-12, an essential nutrient that is only available from animal proteins. Did they even bother to consult a proper nutritionist about the dietary needs of pro athletes? Iron, other B-complex vitamins, vitamin A are also mostly derived from animal products.
