I live in Africa, specifically the southernmost part. Our electricity prices have seen double digit annual increases every year for the last decade, as more renewables are brought online. There are no savings to be made, only suffering to be borne.
If the African Climate Leadership article was written by someone who has not the foggiest idea what he is talking about, I wish that some of these crits were written by people who actually know what they are talking about.
