We don’t need a climate-coded whole-of-government forest management plan. We need more proactive management (including sawmills), mechanical thinning, permitting reform, and private investment.
Can we say directed energy weapons & stratospheric injection? Timber management practices that aren't? Refusal to thin areas selectively & monospecies propagation for maximum profit? Use of "government" always results in huge inefficiencies, burdensome regulations, higher costs and net missed opportunities for real change while perpetuating and growing more bureaucracy.
