Both Newsom and Biden are supporters of Marxism. I suggest reading my recent review of "Unwoke: How to Defeat Cultural Marxism" at https://2026.substack.com/p/unwoke-review

Biden recently awarded $1.1 billion in credits to the Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plant in CA. Under pressure, Newsom planned to close the plant between now and early 2025. The plant provides reliable electricity to 3 million homes. The billion from Biden will allow the plant to continue until 2030. So, since nuclear is also not considered "favorable" in the renewable transition fantasy, doesn't this seem a bit weird.

But, on the horizon is the SunZia transmission project which is considered the largest renewable project in the world. NM is the starting point where construction of 1,000 wind turbines is currently underway and will be the starting point for the SunZia transmission lines. These are twin ultra-high voltage towers running 515 miles from NM to AZ and cross into CA. The developer of the project, Pattern Energy claims this renewable project will generate electricity to 3 million homes.

Maybe this is a coincidence, but this is the way I see the Biden-Newsom, et al. climate change greed deals becoming our future bailout. So, as Diablo Canyon's reliable electricity to 3 million homes is placed into the dustbin of history, this massive wind project will deliver unreliable electricity to 3 million homes using a 2 year window for nuclear power to shutter and wind to be fully installed But, right now, the Tohono O'odham Nation and San Pedro Apache tribes have sued Pattern for not conducting a cultural study and historic properties treatment plan. The BLM jumped in today in the AZ federal court and told the court "the tribes are too late to stop this project"! Typical hypocrisy as Biden stops exploration for oil and gas in Alaska since he wants to protect the tribes. What nonsense. I hope the tribes win out and like the Osage tribe in OK, brings this subsidized boondoggle to a halt. I know that's wishful thinking, but the powerful environmental groups and the government's insistence that climate change as the existential threat to the planet , need to explain why SunZia's irreversible damage to historic sites won't be hashed out with the tribes. At least show some real transparency on this monster project. But like all the damage that wind and solar projects do to the environment, the environmentalists are also the watchdogs as was discovered when the whales washed up along the east coast and the investigators said "oh, nothing to see here". And, as usual we find that they were funded by Orsted, the biggest wind developer in the world.

I don't see a lot of point appealing to Biden and Newsome's conscience - the term "seared" conscience could be applied to both --

Their energy ignorance and activism are horrible together.
